Traps leading to the 'spaghetti effect'The design strategy matters a great deal for the development of a philosophy of science. If assumptions creep into the design process they will lead to a narrowing of vision and fragmentation. Since these assumptions are usually hidden we are not aware of the effects they have on the narrowing of vision. Yet, they also create 'the spaghetti effect', since we chase around circles, always left with open questions. This is illustrated below.
