    The science debate:  Evolution and / or creation

    The LOTA philosophy of science and its emerging LOTA theories describe the evolution of self organizing patterns as a fundamental phenomena that is independent of space-time. It sees Darwinian type evolution theories, which follow the arrow of time in space-time, as a limited one dimensional interpretation of a much more complex pattern of interactions. Indeed, looking through the lens of Darwinian evolution theories, we can be easily fooled through its masking effect on the broader fundamentals of self organization. A broadening in our thinking patterns on evolution would make us aware of the vast amount of literature already available in support of such additional dimension(s) to evolution. 

    Moreover, fundamental to the evolution of all self organizing patterns is the phenomenon of Creative-R, the ultimate creative and omnipresent force from which the universe emerges. In short, the creative force of Creative-R and the forces of evolution are both present in our reality. The LOTA philosophy of science views 'creation' and 'evolution' as forces that are both present and complementary.

    The science debate:  A better 'big bang'

    Big Bang is fashionable. Big Bang has become big bucks. Its simplistic message sells but carries little weight in terms of scientific reasoning. Here is one of the flaws:  The Big Bang model is using the arrow of time in order to explain the unfolding space-time dynamic order, which contains again the arrow of time. Therefore, it is self referencing in its starting assumptions and explanation, thus violating fundamentals of logical reasoning. 

    The LOTA philosophy of science suggests an alternative that overcomes weaknesses of the Big Bang scenario. It overcomes also weaknesses found in the earlier popular model of the 'steady state theory'. This alternative is referred to as the Big Fountain model. It is a natural outcome from the emerging LOTA theories.

    The Big Fountain model appears to preserve consistency with major scientific theories and seems consistent with actual 'data' from recent developments in the fields of cosmology as well as in high energy physics. Moreover, it overcomes the big bang major weakness mentioned earlier,  i.e. the dependency on the arrow of time, since the Big Fountain model does not depend on the arrow of time.

    The science debate:  Science and the soul

    The notion that we have a soul is slowly making a comeback in science. This trend is easily accommodated in the LOTA philosophy of science, since it views the origin of our personal identity as residing outside the domain of space-time. Hence it is a part of us that is timeless and survives physical death. 

    If you read the above paragraph without prior knowledge of the emerging LOTA theories, it is easily misunderstood as a statement of opinion rather than the result of a carefully constructed synthesis of current sciences.     The science debate:  Faster-Than-Light

    The LOTA philosophy of science suggests that 'signals' can propagate faster than the speed of light. This seems to violate the theory of relativity, since the speed of light is considered the maximum possible speed of a signal. However, the theory of relativity makes an exception for what is called a 'composite signal'. 

    Recent developments at Berkeley University in California and Massachusetts Institute of Technology have experimentally confirmed the possibility to create 'composite signals ' which propagate faster than light. 

    Moreover, research in scalar waves from the University of Applied Sciences, Furtwangen, Germany ( Dr. Konstantin Meyl ) has demonstrated that energy transfer can also take place at speeds above the speed of light (in composite waves). This is supported by several demo's availabe on Youtube, as well as a complete demo kit commercially available for duplication of the experiments.

    What is a 'composite signal'? According to the LOTA philosophy of science, most of what we observe are 'composite signals', since most of what we observe are phenomena originating from 'adaptive looping interaction patterns'. Hence, the famous example of someone shooting his/her own grandmother by moving backwards in time does not apply, since it is not an 'adaptive loop'. 

    Consequently, the LOTA philosophy of science prediction for signals above the speed of light is a logical extension of current understanding, consistent with current physical theories and supported by recent experiments.

    The science debate:  Entropy

    Entropy is an expression in physics for the degree of disorder existing in a closed system. Some have argued, in a philosophical sense, that the universe is a closed system and will follow the basic laws of entropy. Meaning, when things are left alone in a closed system, it will tend towards greater disorder. Thus, they argue, the universe will tend towards greater disorder.

    While the LOTA philosophy of science agrees with the basic laws of entropy, it disagrees  with the philosophical interpretations of these laws when they are applied to the universe. Here are the reasons:

    The Great Scaling Pattern describes the universe as an open system. Therefore, the laws of entropy do not apply in a philosophical sense. Moreover, the Great Scaling Pattern is very rich on information (self organizing patterns) and 'information' in a system is considered as negative entropy. This negative entropy is a trend toward greater order and this trend towards greater order, despite the things we see in the news, is a fundamental idea emerging from the LOTA philosophy of science.
